Privacy Statement

Reviews of Economic Literature collects data from participants in the journal that is required to provide services to authors, readers, reviewers, and editorial team members and to publish the journal’s content involving the following activities:
  • Registering with the journal
  • Submitting articles
  • Peer reviewing
  • Editing, copyediting, typesetting, or proofing of accepted articles
  • Publishing accepted articles
  • Emailing notifications
The following personal data is collected from participants in the journal:
  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Affiliation
  • Country
  • ORCID ID
We share some of this data with persons external to the journal management and publishing processes for the following purposes only:
  • Editing, copyediting, typesetting, or proofing of accepted articles
  • Registering accepted manuscripts with Crossref
  • Plagiarism checks of submitted papers (we only provide manuscript files, no other data)
  • Claiming a certain level of support or readership
Published articles include authors’ name, affiliation, email address, and ORCID ID.
We compile aggregate statistics, which we may share with external persons, to monitor journal performance.
